All about the headband

Theres something very special about trying to look cute during the cold weather days. I like to stay chic, but also keep myself warm. What a better option to do so than using ear warmer headbands. They are so cute and they look amazing, plus they keep you warm. This one is from Forever 21, and I got a few others in different colors.
Have a happy Saturday?

Global Warming

Temperatures are really crazy in the East Coast. We have had really cold days, and then some mild ones. Everyone is really surprised about how it is December and temperatures are not as cold as past years. This situation is completely weird and I hope things get back to normal. The only good thing about this climate is that you can play more with your outfits, and do not have to be very covered. As much as a I like winter, I have never liked the idea of looking like a snowman. But, I can't wait for the first snow storm to be here.

How are temperatures where you live?

December is here...

Im so excited because December is finally here. This is the perfect month for everything, and Im also very excited because I will get to see my family in this month. As you may know I have been living in the East Coast since I got married, and we are finally going back to Texas this month to spend some quality time with the family.

Here is a mini sneak peek of our Christmas Tree, I haven't finished putting it up. I hope you like it, and in the following days I will be posting more decorative pieces of our home.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone of you. How was your shopping weekend? Are you still enjoying it? Did you find any good deals?
My thanksgiving was very nice, I spend it with the In-laws and we had lots of fun, playing games and eating like crazy people. We went shopping at midnight, but it was a disaster, because it was filled with people and we did not find any good deals. Oh, well what else can I say?
Enjoy your weekend and shop 'till you drop :)

This are some lovely pictures from our neighborhood.

Fun times...

I had a delicious dinner with hubby tonight at one of my favorite restaurants, Cheesecake Factory. I enjoy going there so much. The ambience and the food are just extraordinary.
We ordered our favorite dish, Chicken Madeira and Strawberry Lemonade!
Have a fun and happy Sunday!

I love fall

The temperatures during fall are decreasing day by day. But, Im still enjoying the weather and having fun with the different outfits I put together. The leaves are falling and the orange and red colors of them are just so warming and inspiring.
I decided to pair my new black riding boots with skinny jeans, a black coat and an h&m orange scarf.
How is your fall going so far?

Chunky sweaters are a must have for the fall and winter seasons. They are so comfy and warm, so they are perfect for the cold weather. I made a trip to Forever 21 a few days ago and immediately fell in love with this gorgeous mint sweater. It is the perfect color and so warm. I styled it with a button up white shirt and black skinny jeans. I did my hair in a small sided braid.

Mixing patterns

Fall is without a doubt one of my favorite seasons. Right now I am enjoying a lot the trend of layering and mixing patterns. It is so cool and fun to mix and create different outfits all the time. This time I decided to mix a brown-mustard sweater from Forever 21 with a striped shirt from Polo and a floral scarf from Old Navy.

Are you a fan of mixing patterns?

All I miss...

One of the hardest things of having to live in the East Coast is the lack of good mexican food. I miss all the good restaurants that Texas has, and that sadly we do not have up here. Luckily a few days ago hubby and I found a descent mexican restaurant in town. They sell some very delicious carnitas tacos, that to be quite honest, Im already addicted to.

Do you like Mexican food? If yes what is your favorite dish?

All about Happy!

There are some days when you wake up and all you want to do is to be silly. It feels good to be in a great mood and just want to fool around. Have lots of fun, laugh about everything and just enjoy life. Life is to short to spend it complaining about things. Yesterday it was all about that, just having fun and seeing the good things in everything. Never forget to smile and be happy.

Electric Blue

I am a flats girl, and I know that might be kind of weird for some people. This because I prefer to wear flats all the time rather than heels. It has to be like a very special occasion or something where heels are required for me to actually get to wear them. Thank God I am not very short, but I am not the tallest of persons either.
Flats are really comfortable, they go well with many outfits and you never get tired of them. One of my favorite ones are in a dark electric blue color. They are a type of loafers, but with a twist. They are from the brand Coach and are really cute and comfortable. Their price is high/average for my standards. They were almost $200 dollars, and I got them last year during fall season.

Rain is falling

Fall season has made its entrance in the East Coast. We have been having showers since yesterday and the cooler air is here for sure. Yesterday I used very simple makeup and outfit, I used my new sweater from H&M which is very simple and looks like a blazer. Definitely fall is all about layering and yesterday was the first day of actually doing that. I also accessorized it with my new necklace from Swarovski. I used Urban decay eyeshadows that come in a new palette that I just got. I will explain more about it in a later post.
Have a very safe and fun saturday!

All about Toms

Fashion is so amazing, but there is also something very amazing about helping others. When I first heard about the TOMS campaign I was so excited. The idea of buying a pair of shoes and at the same time giving one pair to children in need is awesome. I think every brand should do the same thing or at least something similar. The shoes are of excellent quality, they are super comfortable and they go very well with every single outfit. I personally instantly fell in love with the red ones, maybe because red is my favorite color. I also got the black glittery ones and every time I put them on everyone starts asking where I bought them. I got both pairs at Nordstrom and they are very affordable at around $50 dollars per pair.
They are one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever bought. I recommend them one hundred percent.
