The Art of Stenciling

Beautiful walls, backgrounds and decorations are an important part of a lovely house. I got really excited when I was contacted by Royal Design Studio to try out their stencils. Before this, I used to look at different pictures of beautiful walls in different magazines and blogs and I always wished I had some of them.
I chose the Donatella Damask Stencil & the Copper Kettle Creme to paint my dressing room. At first I thought it might be hard, but after the first brush strokes I fell in love with the process and the result.

All you need is: The stencil of your choice, the creme, a brush and blue painters tape. You just have to paint over it and follow the pattern and you will love the end result.

The most cool thing is that you can apply the stencil patterns on ceilings, walls, floors and furniture.

Guess what? I will be having a giveaway really soon so you can enjoy the art of stenciling too! You will love it :)

  4. Whoa, that's really cool! And it seems pretty easy to do. A lot easier than applying wallpaper. I might have to keep this in mind. :)
