Bright New Year

Lately I've been very obsessed with red lipstick. I've been using it every single day for the past week and I love it. I also been loving putting my hair up on a messy ponytail. 
I really like this outfit, the peter pan collar sweater and the blue printed pants are staple pieces in my wardrobe this season.

What I got for Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!
I wanted to share this post with you for a few days already, but as you know the Holidays are the perfect time to spend time with family, relax and just have fun. 
Here are the gifts that I got from Santa (aka Hubby), I really liked all of them and I am obsessed with each one. The cutest thing is that he wrapped them in the prettiest way.

 

Im obsessed with this gorgeous statement necklace, he picked the one I had been eyeing for days 

Gucci Guilty black perfume set, which comes with a mini perfume, a regular size perfume and a body lotion. If you haven't smelled this perfume go do it, it smells so lovely and chic 

Inside the pretty red bag I found a blue box, which only meant something really nice 

I found this lovely pair of earrings inside and Im obsessed with them, been wearing them non-stop ever since I got them!

I also got pretty presents from my parents and friends that I will share in a later post.

Falling Owls

Shopping for Fall clothes is always the most exciting for me. I love layering pieces and just all the cute sweaters and clothes that come out during this season. You need clothes to keep you warm but not as many as you do during Winter. 

This sweater is one of my favorite purchases so far, it is from Old Navy and is very pretty and comfy.

Flowers for Autumn

I am a huge fan of the floral trend and want to keep using it throughout the seasons. Flowers are very girly and they just make an outfit perfect. This is my pre-thanksgiving outfit, it is so comfy, yet so pretty and put together. Cold days can get depressing so it is important to wear color and pretty patterns to stay happy and motivated.

Monthly Obsessions (October)

Now that October is gone, it is the perfect time to show you my October obsessions. These are things that I have been wearing non-stop during the past month. I am very obsessed with them. 

Statement necklace from Forever 21. Such an outstanding piece, it really completes an outfit.

Studded slipper flats from Forever 21. They are so unique and pretty. I love that the studs are not so pointy, and they are very comfortable.

Sugar lip balm, my favorite and Im sure it will remain like that for a long time.

My favorite late night dinner/brunch. Chicken and waffles are the perfect combination, and ihop just cooks them perfectly.

Styling a Statement Necklace 2

This is the second post of my statement necklace series. Today I decided to style my neon necklace and I loved the final result. This necklace just stands out for itself and it is gorgeous in every way. 
Pattern pants are so in style this Fall season and incorporating them into this outfit was just the perfect choice.

Styling a Statement Necklace 1

In my last post of statement jewelry I asked you if you wanted to see how I styled statement necklaces. I had a huge response asking for me to do it. This is going to be a series and this will be post #1. I really hope you like it!
First of all I decided to style the Peter Pan Collar necklace. I decided to do it in a different way, somehow unexpected but I think it turned out beautifully. It is an edgy, chic and feminine outfit.

A Beautiful Statement

Jewelry can really change an outfit and make you look gorgeous. I recently bought this beautiful Filigree Collar Tips from ShopLately and I am obsessed. Definitely the perfect piece of jewelry to have in your box at the moment. 
I wore it with one of my favorite trends which is: sheer shirts. This one is a black buttoned up shirt and it is a staple and basic item in my closet.
