Monthly Obsessions (October)

Now that October is gone, it is the perfect time to show you my October obsessions. These are things that I have been wearing non-stop during the past month. I am very obsessed with them. 

Statement necklace from Forever 21. Such an outstanding piece, it really completes an outfit.

Studded slipper flats from Forever 21. They are so unique and pretty. I love that the studs are not so pointy, and they are very comfortable.

Sugar lip balm, my favorite and Im sure it will remain like that for a long time.

My favorite late night dinner/brunch. Chicken and waffles are the perfect combination, and ihop just cooks them perfectly.

A Mint Leopard

I think every girl has a favorite color or combination of colors that prefers over everything else. I have a huge crush on mint and leopard. I think they look incredible together and they are the perfect combination. This outfit is one of my favorites so far. I love the contrast of the leopard with the chunky mint necklace.

May Favorite Eyeshadow

Now that May is over, I have to share with you my favorite eyeshadows for the past month. I have owned these eyeshadows for a few months already, but this month I got a lot of use out of them. The colors are just gorgeous and with them you can create tons of different looks with just 4 different colors. 

The two center ones, Verve and Suspect are my favorites and probably my favorite daily makeup look. They are super pretty and they just make the eye pop a little bit more. The eyeliner is also amazing, as every Urban Decay one is. It is the perfect brown color and it goes very well with every one of the eyeshadows.

Valentine's gift

I enjoy shopping at Target a lot. I think it is one of my favorite stores of all time. Not just for certain items that I can find there, but I like it in general. I like the clothes, the food variety, the coffee, the electronics, accessories, books, magazines, etc.... Their variety in everything is amazing and you always have a great time at Target. 
Last week on my weekly visit to Target I was going through the $1 dollar aisle, and they have tons of interesting Valentines stuff. I was pleased to see the different hand and body lotions, all inspired by Valentines. 
They have three different smells, but I fell for the red one. It is called Vanilla Kiss. It has a very special Vanilla/Romantic scent. It is very moisturizing and the smell is to die for. My husband liked it a lot and every time I wear it I feel sexy and in love...

Isn't the packaging also to die for? It is pretty and girly. 
They also have a black and a pink one. So you have three different ones to pick from or maybe you can buy the three of them!


I recommend it 100% go to your nearest Target and spend just $1, you would not regret it, trust me! It would make a perfect Valentines gift for your friends too. 

All I miss...

One of the hardest things of having to live in the East Coast is the lack of good mexican food. I miss all the good restaurants that Texas has, and that sadly we do not have up here. Luckily a few days ago hubby and I found a descent mexican restaurant in town. They sell some very delicious carnitas tacos, that to be quite honest, Im already addicted to.
